The Earthing Universal Mat is our most versatile product! It can be used on top of a desk under your keyboard and mouse, or under your desk to put your feet on. Put it on a couch to sit on, or on the back of the couch to lean against. Move it around your kitchen to stand on while washing dishes, prepping dinner, and cooking at the stove. Set it up in the bathroom to stand on while brushing your teeth, or to rest your feet on while sitting on the toilet. You can even take it into your bed at night and sleep on it!

Specifications

We’ve sourced eco-friendly and non-toxic materials to provide our customers with a safe and premium quality grounding product. The thin black top conductive layer is the layer that your body makes contact with. It is made of PU (Polyurethane) resin. Leather look-alike items made with polyurethane (PU) are very consumer friendly and safe unlike older PVC leathers. It is vinyl-free and phthalate-free.

The thin black layer of PU leather is infused with conductive carbon pigment for the conductive top layer. Carbon is the 2^nd most abundant element in the human body after oxygen and is what conducts the earth's energy. It also makes the Mat naturally flame resistant without the use of harsh flame resistant chemicals.

The bottom, or non-conductive layer, is made of TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) closed cell foam. This is among the safest foam used. It is latex and PVC free. This is the same foam used in footwear and in children’s foam toys.

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Check Your Outlets For Ground

In order to use your Earthing product, you must connect it to the “ground port” of a grounded 3 prong outlet. Before plugging in your Earthing product, you must check that the outlet is grounded by plugging in the outlet checker.

Two amber lights illuminated is GOOD and means that you have a proper ground and you are ready to connect your Earthing product.

Any other light combination means your outlet is NOT properly grounded. Try testing another outlet. If it still doesn’t work, then you will need to use a Grounding Rod available for purchase on this website.

Step 2: Connect the Safety Adapter

Plug the Safety Adapter into the ground port (third hole) of the wall outlet.

Step 3: Connect the Coil Cord

Plug one end of the Coil Cord into the Safety Adapter. Snap the other end onto the Universal Mat.

Step 4: Setting Up The Universal Mat

Decide where you want to use the mat. Your options include most anywhere you work, sit, relax, rest, or sleep. Bare skin contact is best with the Mat but one thin layer of clothing between you and the mat is acceptable.

Remember: The mat is conductive on the snap side only.

Step 4: Test For Conductivity With The Continuity Tester

Not included with this kit, but available for purchase on this website.

You don’t have to test your Universal Mat often. We recommend you test it after cleaning it.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

DO's:

Wipe down the mat using a non-corrosive cleaner like soap and water on a damp sponge.
Air dry.

DONT'S:

Do not put in the washing machine or dryer.
Do not use chlorine or bleach.
Do not use any liquid fabric softener or detergent containing bleach or fabric softener.
Do not apply lotion, creams, or body oil to your skin before touching the mat. These can oxidize and damage conductivity.
